I love what I do for starters!

Let's be honest—there are A LOT of photographers out there. 😂

And that's a good thing! There are so many talented people creating beautiful images.

So why TAQ Photography?

Because I don't believe your photography session should feel like you're showing up, standing in a line, smiling at the camera, and checking “family pictures” off your to-do list.

I want you to actually enjoy the experience.

I'm Not Looking for Perfect. I'm Looking for YOU.

Your kids don't always sit still.

Someone might refuse to smile.

Dad might be convinced he absolutely hates pictures.

Your toddler might decide that running in the opposite direction is today's favorite activity.

And your newborn? Well... your newborn makes the rules. 😂

That's real life.

And honestly?

Those are some of my favorite sessions.

I don't want to photograph a perfectly posed version of your family that doesn't feel like you. I want the giggles, the cuddles, the silly faces, the tiny hands, the personalities, and all those little moments that make your family yours.

Your Session Isn't About Performing for the Camera

One of the biggest things I hear from families is:

“We're terrible at taking pictures.”

Good.

Seriously.

You don't need to know how to pose.

You don't need to know where to put your hands.

Your kids don't need to sit perfectly still.

And you definitely don't need to show up already knowing how to make everyone look “Pinterest perfect.”

That's my job.

I'll guide you when you need direction, give you prompts when we need a little movement, and let things unfold naturally when those genuine moments start happening.

My goal is for you to forget the camera is even there.

Newborns Don't Follow a Schedule. And That's Okay.

Newborn photography requires something you can't fake:

Patience.

Babies need to eat. They need to be held. They need diaper changes. They cry. They wiggle. They fall asleep and then mysteriously wake up the second you think you've nailed the perfect pose. 😂

There is no rushing a newborn session.

I take the time your baby needs.

Mom and Dad, this experience is for you, too. Watching your hearts melt as you see your sweet little one in those special outfits and poses? That melts mine, too. ❤️

I Want You to Remember How It Felt

Years from now, your children won't remember exactly what everyone was wearing.

They won't remember whether their hair was perfectly in place.

And you're probably not going to care whether every single person was looking directly at the camera.

But you will want to remember what it felt like to hold your newborn when they were tiny.

You will want to remember your toddler's laugh.

You will want to remember the way your family fit together during that season of life.

You will want to remember the person your senior was before they headed off into their next chapter.

That's what I'm trying to capture.

Not just what you looked like.

Then somehow that newborn is celebrating a first birthday cake smash.
