One of my favorite parts of the TAQ Photography newborn experience is making the entire process as easy and stress-free as possible—from planning your outfits to choosing your baby's little details and everything in between.

You Don't Have to Figure It All Out Alone

When you book your newborn session with me, we'll talk about the look and feel you want for your photographs.

And if you're staring at your closet thinking, “I have absolutely no idea what we're all supposed to wear,” you're not alone. 😂

I help you coordinate your family's outfits before your session by sharing screenshots, outfit ideas, links, and examples so we can make sure everyone's clothing works together beautifully.

You don't have to perfectly match.

In fact, please don't show up in five identical white shirts and jeans unless that's genuinely your thing. 😂

Instead, we'll work toward a coordinated look that feels natural, timeless, and like your family.

And Your Newborn? I've Got Them Covered.

Your baby's wardrobe is where I can really take some of the work off your plate.

I have a collection of newborn clothing, wraps, bonnets, accessories, and props available for your session.

That means you don't have to spend hours scrolling through websites trying to find the perfect newborn outfit or worry about whether that adorable little romper will photograph the way you imagined.

We'll choose pieces that fit your baby's size, your family's style, and the overall look we're creating together.

What About Your Older Children?

While I don't provide clothing for parents or older children, I absolutely help you coordinate their outfits.

Send me screenshots.

Send me pictures.

Send me links.

Send me the outfit you're already obsessed with.

Seriously—send it all. 😂

We'll look at colors, textures, patterns, and styles together so your older children coordinate beautifully with the newborn without everyone looking overly matched.

It's one less thing for you to figure out by yourself.

I hear you.

Some dads hear “family pictures” and immediately start looking for the nearest exit.

Don't worry, Dad.

You don't have to know how to pose, and you won't be stuck smiling at a camera for three hours.

I'll guide you through the photographs, keep things moving, and make it as painless as possible.

And yes, we'll get some beautiful images of you with your new baby, too.

Your Baby Is the Boss

Once you arrive, we aren't putting your baby on a stopwatch.

Newborns have their own schedules.

They may be hungry.

They may need a diaper change.

They may want Mom.

They may need to be rocked.

They may decide that sleeping is absolutely NOT happening today.

That's okay.

A newborn session is not a race.

I work at your baby's pace and give them the time they need to settle, feed, cuddle, and relax.

My goal is beautiful photography without rushing your baby to get there.

What If My Baby Cries?

Then your baby cries.

That's literally their job. 😂

Please don't apologize.

We stop.

We soothe.

We feed.

We change.

We cuddle.

And then we try again when your little one is ready.

Sometimes the moments in between the perfectly posed photographs end up being some of the sweetest images in your gallery.

What If I Don't Know How to Pose?

Perfect.

Because you don't have to.

I'll guide you through it.

I'll show you where to stand, where to put your hands, how to hold your baby, and how to interact naturally with your family.

You don't need to be a model.

You just need to love your people.

I've got the rest.

Siblings Are Part of the Story, Too

Your new baby isn't the only one experiencing a huge change.

Big brothers and sisters are becoming something new, too.

Those first interactions can be some of my favorite moments to photograph—the kisses, the curiosity, the excitement, the proud big-sibling moments, and sometimes the complete lack of interest. 😂

And because I'll help you coordinate their outfits ahead of time, we can make sure their clothing works beautifully with the newborn's wardrobe and the overall styling of your session.

The Little Details Matter

This is the part I love.

The tiny toes.

Those little fingers.

The sleepy stretches.
